Next term we are adding three new classes to our timetable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers! Our new classes take place in our bright and spacious new studio, Studio A, at Maryhill Burgh Halls. With plenty of room to move around inside, we also have lift access, baby changing facilities and the Nolly Cafe on site for refreshments before and after class! FAMILY CLASS, 0 – 5 yrs, SATURDAYS 11.15 am (starts 20th April)
Musical fun for the whole family! Primarily aimed at children aged 12 months – 3 years, this class is also suitable for 3 and 4 year olds who prefer to attend one of our classes with their grown-up. Younger babies and older siblings are also very welcome at no extra cost!
PARENT AND CHILD, 18mths – 3 yrs, FRIDAYS 10 am (starts 19th April)
For babies, toddlers and their grown – ups to enjoy together! Songs, rhymes, dancing, musical play, percussion and live music to provide a gentle introduction to the world of music.
PRESCHOOL, 3-5 yr olds, FRIDAYS 11 am (starts 19th April)
A fun, yet structured, class for preschool aged children to attend by themselves. Children enjoy lots of songs, rhymes, percussion, circle and partner games to develop their understanding of pulse, rhythm and pitch. We begin to use solfa hand signs (do-re-mi etc) and read simple stick notation in preparation for learning a musical instrument.
