Primary Musicianship

Primary Musicianship

Fun, group classes for children aged Primary 2 and up that aims to train aural skills, and a sense of rhythm and coordination in an enjoyable way. The classes help children become well-rounded musicians and develop skills that are crucially important to master playing an instrument. Based on Kodaly’s methods, the children are taught to read, recognise and write music – just like you would when learning a new language – through singing games, rhythm exercises and body percussion. Suitable for children who are already learning a musical instrument as well as beginners.
